Miscellaneous Actiontec Settings

1. Plug in your Actiontec DSL gateway into a power outlet and into the Ethernet port on your computer using the supplied crossover cable.
   
2. Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.0.1
   
3. The welcome screen will appear, click on Setup/Configuration
   
   
4. Set Up / Configuration Screen-
   
   1. Click on Advanced Setup link
   2. Click on Begin Advanced Setup button

   
   

Use the menu along the side to access the various functions:

DHCP Server:

1. Click on the DHCP Server link on the left.
2. Select "On" or "Off", depending on your preference, then click Next to save the setting.
   
3. Click on the Save and Restart link on the left, then on the Save and Restart button in the page that appears.

NAT (Network Address Translation)

1. Click on the NAT link on the left
2. Select "On" or "Off", depending on your preference, then click Next to save the setting.
   
3. Click on the Save and REstart link on the left, the on the Save and Restart button in the page that appears.

Wireless Settings (Actiontec Wireless DSL Gateway GT701 Only)

1. Click on the Wireless Settings link on the left.
